I am a 77 y/o male physician and have exercised all of my life. In the past few years I felt I was not “keeping up” and sought a trainer. I watched Rich train another social security eligible gent and admired his style in that he gently pushed his client but never with stress. I have now been training with Rich for almost 3 months (twice a week) and am impressed with the progress. Rich is always aware of the “stresses, strains, and injuries” in my 77 y/o body and works around them while exercising and working all muscle groups. He constantly changes the routines to avoid the monotony of exercise and I look forward to each work out. He ends each session with balance routines and stretching which is very important in my age group. In summary his gentle but challenging routine is so important in finding the correct compromise for each individual as they strive to improve their physical well-being. I have found the latter has also improved my mental health and attitude. In addition, I have found a friend in Rich Tejada as we both work towards improving my well-being.

Get real folks… You can either spend your time recovering from surgery or from the side effects of medicine OR you can seek and find a trainer who will: make your muscles remember when they were firm and lithe and balance wasn’t an issue. Rich Tejada is just such a man. He is honing his already abundant skills regularly. As well, he has the capacity to fine tune a workout to his clients desires and needs, and at the same time he will cajole you into believing that you can and should do more.He will compliment you when needed and prod you with firm supervision when you are selling yourself short..

I am a 60 year old female who resides in both Michigan and Florida, US. While wintering in FLorida, I trained under the expert guidance of Rich Tejada. Rich is a warm and gregarious individual. As a result, I felt very comfortable working out under his watchful eye. Rich spent the first couple of sessions assessing my strengths and weaknesses as well as gathering an inventory of past injuries.
Rich used this personal assessment, in combination with his extensive knowledge of the human musculature system and exercises, to develop a customized set of workouts which both strengthened my entire body and improved my sense of balance.
I looked forward to training with Rich because of his personality and how he varied the exercises. He consistently added aerobics to the mix via High Intensity exercises and ended all training sessions with stretching. These factors kept the training interesting and enjoyable. I always left my training sessions with a sense of calm, peace and accomplishment.

I spent the whole month of January, 2015 as a resident at Cedar Cove Beach & Yacht Club in Cedar Key, FL. While there I took advantage of the Cedar Cove Fitness exercise gym every day. This brought me into contact with the gym’s manager and trainer, Rich Tejada. Although I have been exercising on a daily basis for the last 25 years and felt that I knew everything I needed to know about fitness, Rich showed me that there was so much more to keeping myself healthy. I found him to be incredibly helpful and informative about cardio options, dynamics of weightlifting and physiology of exercise. As a trainer, I saw him interacting with clients many times. His patience and his way of explaining what he wanted to convey were impressive. He also made his personal library of exercise and physiology books available to the gym’s clientele.
